Joseph Katz, D.M.D, Professor, Head section of Oral Medicine, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Diagnostic Sciences at the University of Florida. Dr. Katz Has an active patient care practice and he is deeply involved in teaching and translational research. He was trained at the Hebrew University School of Dental Medicine where he received his DMD and Residency in Oral Medicine. Dr. Katz is a member of the American Academy of Oral Medicine. He has authored more than 130 peer reviewed publications and sits on editorial boards of various scientific journals.

This course is designed to provide new information about advances made recently in the field of Oral Medicine. The course will provide the participants with the new concepts in diagnosis and treatment of oral soft tissue lesions, xerostomia, oral infectious diseases and oral manifestation of systemic diseases and medications.
Conference Sessions generally take place during the days at sea (as cruise itinerary allows) to avoid conflicts with Ports of Call or evening entertainment.
