Statement of Purpose: To review the healthcare management of adults in a clinical setting, with special emphasis on cardiac disease and prevention Preliminary Objectives for Activity: “At the conclusion of this CME activity, participants should be able to:
• Discuss cardiac diseases commonly encountered in medical practice
• Review measures for preventing cardiac disease including, exercise, diet weight management
• Assess risk factors associated with cardiac disease
• Outline clinical tests used in cardiac disease diagnosis
