Program Purpose / Objectives
To consider the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic cardiac conditions, particularly in the outpatient setting, and to review current research in the field of cardiology.

At the conclusion of this CME activity, participants should be able to:
* Discuss the vulnerable coronary artery plaque
* Manage chronic stable and unstable angina
* Assess hyperlipidemia and cholesterol
* Identify the impact of diabetes on the heart
* Interpret EKG and arrhythmia patterns
* Evaluate acute coronary syndromes and infarction
* Review current management of hypertension
* Analyze hormone replacement therapy in coronary heart disease
