Program Purpose / Objectives
"Create a Raving Fan Practice Through Digital Dental Technology - Are Your Ready for the EHR?"

This course will discuss all the latest Digital Technology that will enable you to create a "Raving Fan" practice and empower you and your dental Team "To Practice Smarter Not Harder". Dr Samaras will present the technology in a Team oriented, practice management discussion that will not take you out of your "comfort zone". In addition, he will discuss the proposed Electronic Health Record schedule to take effect by 2014. All Dental Team members are encouraged to attend.
Conference Sessions generally take place on days at sea (as itinerary allows), giving you plenty of time to enjoy your meals, evenings and ports of call with your companion, family and friends.

Charles Samaras, D.M.D., FICD is a Former (1999 - 2007) Director of Practice Management at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and a leading authority on technology in the everyday dental practice.

Dr. Samaras has a dynamic teaching style and professional presentation that combine to provide a conducive learning environment. He has maintained a private dental practice for 20 years in Lowell, Massachusetts.

Cozumel, Mexico - The Conquistadors first saw Mexico from the shores of Cozumel while searching for gold. Today, visitors to the island continue to seek out gold and silver jewelry in the shops of San Miguel while having a great time in its many local bars and restaurants. Plus, the waters around Cozumel's sheltered coral reefs make this one of the best snorkeling areas in the world.
Falmouth, Jamaica - Step off the ship and step back in time. You might not think so at first glance but little Falmouth was an economic and shipping powerhouse and center for dramatic social change during the English Colonial Period. Founded and named Martha Brae Point in 1769 by local English planter, Thomas Reid, Falmouth became the transshipment hub for the sugar plantations covering the hills of the North Coast of Jamaica. Edward Barrett, a wealthy English planter, strongly influenced the early development of Falmouth. From the wharfs of Falmouth, sugar, molasses, rum and coffee were sent to England while ships carrying African slaves and all the necessities of 18th century colonial life dropped anchor in the bustling port town. You'll return with sun kissed skin, timeless memories as well as interesting historical tidbits to share with friends, like this one: Falmouth received piped water before New York City.
