Faculty
Rimma Shaposhnikov, MD
Assistant Clinical Professor, Division of Digestive Diseases, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA

Dr. Shaposhnikov is certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. She is currently an Assistant Clinical professor with the Division of Digestive Diseases at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Shaposhnikov was asked to head the division's northwest expansion, and she is now part of a large multi specialty academic practice. As one of the few female gastroenterologists, her interests and expertise lie in women's health as well as functional bowel disorders including irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux, among others. In addition, she is interested in esophageal disorders and was in charge of the esophageal motility lab at the providence St. Joseph Hospital, Burbank.

Dr. Shaposhnikov obtained her BS from Yale University and her MD from State University of New York at Buffalo. Both her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in gastroenterology were completed at University of Southern California.

Mary K. Hall, MD
Chief of Urology at the James A. Haley VAMC, Tampa, Florida

Dr. Mary K Hall was born in Spartanburg, SC. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in chemistry from Wofford College in 1978. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston 1982 and then continued her training as a resident in Urology at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA finishing in 1987. She completed a fellowship in spinal cord injury in 1988 at the McGuire VAMC in Richmond, VA. She joined the urological staff at the Bay Pines VAMC until 1998 and then transferred to the James A Haley VAMC in Tampa Florida. She is currently the Chief of Urology at the James A Haley VAMC. As assistant clinical professor at the University of South Florida College of Medicine's Urology Department of Surgery, Dr Hall oversees the urological residents when practicing at the James A Haley VAMC. She has coauthored publications in the Journal of Urology, has been a speaker, and regularly presents scientific papers.
