Dr. Orr is a practicing dentist anesthesiologist in Austin, Texas. He has lived in Austin with his family since 2012 and loves it.
Dr. Orr and his wife, Lori, have 4 children, ages 9, 7, 5, and 3. He also periodically fosters litters of puppies or kittens from the nearby no-kill animal shelter, making his house a bit crazy sometimes!
Dr. Orr attended Brigham Young University from 2000-2005, with a 2 year break from 2001-2003 to serve an LDS mission to Ukraine, Kiev. Upon returning, Dr. Orr received his BA in Russian and matriculated into the dental school at UNLV in 2005.
Dr. Orr graduated in 2009 from dental school, and immediately began his 3 year training program in anesthesia at Stony Brook University Hospital (SUNY). Upon graduation in 2012, he and his family moved to Austin to begin his practice of anesthesia.
In September of 2013, Dr. Orr enrolled in Concord law school (now part of Purdue Global). He finished his law degree in September of 2017, and passed the California bar Feb 2018.
Dr. Orr is a diplomat of the American Board of Legal Medicine, American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is also currently certified as an instructor for PALS, ACLS, and BLS.
