Faculty
Corey Evans, MD, MPH, Director of Medical Education, St. Anthony's Hospital, St. Petersburg, Florida.
David A. Weiland Jr, MD, Medical Director for The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast.
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Weiland trained family doctors at Bayfront Medical Center for eight years. He served also as emergency medicine and house officer for night and weekend coverage at James A. Haley VA, Tampa and Bay Pines VA. In addition, Dr. Weiland is widely published and has been a frequent presenter of a wide range of medical topics. In the 90s, I worked in a home-based physician service and found that I liked dealing with patients on their own turf with the support of their families. I feel we are better able to deal with each patient as a whole person in the home setting. That is in alignment with the philosophy at The Hospice, Dr. Weiland said.

Cruise Line cancellation policies are strictly enforced. For that reason, we urge all of our travelers to carefully consider whether travel insurance is a good value for them.

Certainly, if you have reason to think that "something might come up" that might force you to cancel, travel insurance is worth the cost of the premium. Examples we've seen in the past include ill or frail family members and changes in employment causing relocation.

If travel insurance is the right choice for you, we recommend TravelSafe. To visit their site and explore your options click here or on the link above. The cruise lines also offer travel insurance and we'd be happy to help you go that route if you'd prefer.
