Play golf in the British Isles during the University at Sea June 14, 2010 7-night CME Cruise on the Crystal Symphony

Here is our golf itinerary:

Wednesday, June 16th: While in Waterford Ireland today we will play golf at Mount Juliet Golf Club. Mount Juliet Golf Club is a Jack Nicklaus designed golf course set in a world of its own, on lush parkland in the south east of Ireland. This 18 hole course has hosted two American Express World Golf Championships plus three Irish Open Championships. The rate per person is $265 USD and includes 1 round of golf, transfers to and from the ship and escort services.

Thursday, June 17th: During our stop in Dublin we will play the famous Portmarnock Golf Club. The use of dunes and natural terrain should please the most ardent links purists. Elevated tees and greens, blind approaches and doglegs, not to mention typical links sea breezes, keep you thinking through every round. Gently undulating luxuriously sprung fairways leading to large fast greens must be negotiated through 98 strategically placed bunkers, while hillocks, wild grasses and gorse await wayward shots. Measuring 6,350 metres, the 1st tee and 18th green are conveniently situated just a wedge shot from the hotel and clubhouse. The rate per person is $420 USD and includes 1 round of golf, transfers to and from the ship and escort services.

Friday, June 18th: While visiting the port of Belfast we will be playing the Royal Belfast Golf Club, one of the country's premier 18 hole private members' clubs, visitors are assured of a very warm welcome, a wonderful golfing experience on the Harry Colt designed course and first class service in the splendid Victorian clubhouse. The Royal Belfast Golf Club is the oldest golf club in Ireland, founded on 9 November 1881. The rate per person is $165 USD and includes 1 round of golf, transfers to and from the ship and escort services.

Saturday, June 19th : Our last day of golf will be today in Liverpool at the Ormskirk Golf Club. This friendly private members club has a course that offers a real challenge to all levels of golfer. It has been used Open regional qualifying and many county matches. The 6358 yard par 70 course is set in the beautiful West Lancashire countryside with only the odd farmhouse to be see behind it’s mature tree lined fairways. The rate per person is $225 USD and includes 1 round of golf, transfers to and from the ship and escort services.

Select just one golf outing or all four. The total package rate per person is $995 USD and includes 4 rounds of golf, transfers to and from the ship and escort services. Prices and reservations are based on a minimum number of participants and subject to availability and change.

TravelSafe.comPlease visit TravelSafe.com for travel insurance information.

Cruise Line cancellation policies are strictly enforced. For that reason, we urge all of our travelers to carefully consider whether travel insurance is a good value for them.

Certainly, if you have reason to think that "something might come up" that might force you to cancel, travel insurance is worth the cost of the premium. Examples we've seen in the past include ill or frail family members and changes in employment causing relocation.

If travel insurance is the right choice for you, we recommend TravelSafe. To visit their site and explore your options click here or on the link above. The cruise lines also offer travel insurance and we'd be happy to help you go that route if you'd prefer.
