Dr. Dennis Andrade serves as the Associate Program Director for the Family Medicine Residency Program at Kaiser Permanente San Diego. With over 20 years of experience teaching and mentoring medical students and resident physicians, he manages clinical rotations across various specialties, including surgery, emergency medicine, office procedures, and ultrasound. Dr. Andrade also founded the Southern California Regional Global Health Program for Kaiser Permanente resident physicians, leading numerous international medical trips to Peru, Thailand, Jamaica, Fiji, Kenya, and Mexico.

In addition to his leadership role, Dr. Andrade maintains an active clinical practice at Kaiser Permanente, where he supervises the Minor Surgery Clinic. He is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Preventive Medicine at the University of California, San Diego where he precepts medical students. Dr. Andrade has also presented at national medical conferences on a variety of topics, including medical volunteerism abroad, travel medicine, and the use of ultrasound in primary care. His expertise also includes advanced training in trauma management and wilderness medicine.

Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Andrade is passionate about travel, exploring diverse cultures, and enjoys running half-marathons, hiking, and photography.

After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Boston College, Robert L. Fogerty received his MD and MPH degrees from Northwestern University and completed training in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital. In 2011, he joined the Yale faculty as a founding member of the Academic Hospitalist Program. His academic interests include safety and quality of care in the inpatient setting and cost-effective care. Publications include the Journal of Hospital Medicine, JAMA Internal Medicine, and The New England Journal of Medicine. He is also the co-founder & Past-President of the Society of Hospital Medicine Connecticut Chapter, faculty in the High Value Practice Academic Alliance (HVPAA) training programs, and a founding member of the Hospital Capacity Management Consortium. In his current role as Senior Medical Director, Clinical Leadership, Dr. Fogerty reports to the Chief Medical Officer and works to support medical directors across multiple clinical disciplines in clinical operations, professional development, corporate compliance and other areas.

The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) has a reciprocal credit reporting agreement with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). Lauderdale Beach and cafes, stroll the historic Riverwalk, shop the luxurious stores on Las Olas Boulevard, or adventure to the Everglades for an intriguing air boat excursion.

At Sea - Cruising - Cruising

Basseterre, St. Kitts - The island England zealously defended from Brimstone Hill, the "Gibraltar of the West Indies." In Basseterre, a mini-London, there's Piccadilly Circus to shop and a gingerbread version of Big Ben by which to check the hour.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten - The capital of the Dutch side of St. Maarten is the town of Philipsburg, though St. Maarten is an island with two distinct sides. To the north is the French side, whose capital is Marigot, while Philipsburg sits on the southern part of the island. When exploring on cruises that go to St. Maarten, it’s important to visit both sides to understand their customs and heritage.

You’ll quickly be charmed by all sides of the island. Of course, this Caribbean island is best known for its beaches, like Maho Beach or Great Bay Beach, one of the area’s best snorkeling spots. Sample local seafood or rum during your time in port, which have become symbols of St. Maarten life. There’s just enough to fill the day here, especially if you hop between the French and Dutch beaches.

The key sights of Charlotte Amalie are located within the town centre, making it easy to combine sightseeing with St. Thomas’ fantastic shopping opportunities. Eighteenth century architecture provides the perfect backdrop for walking tours and shopping here in the "Duty Free Capital of the World." For a dose of history, visit Emancipation Park, the American-Caribbean History Museum, or Bluebeard the pirate's castle at Magen’s Bay. If tropical bliss is what you're after, head to any of Charlotte Amalie’s pristine beaches, where the warm water, white sands and palm trees will lull you into deep relaxation!

Coco Cay, Bahamas - Located in the middle of the Caribbean's bright blue water lies the secluded island of CocoCay. With its white-sand beaches and spectacular surroundings, CocoCay is a wonderland of adventure.
