Program Purpose / Objectives
This two-day program on Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas will provide a unique balance of clinical pediatric dentistry tips plus both practice and life planning skills. All practitioners who see children will gain value in these courses that will be filled with practical ideas for immediate use in offices as well as many suggestions for enhancing one's personal and professional satisfaction and security.
The first day will consist of two half-day presentations:

SUGAR BUGS AND SLEEPY JUICE
(A Potpourri of Practical Pediatric Dental Pearls)
Caring for pediatric dental patients is far more than simply filling baby teeth. It is an entire art form that includes communications, unique skill sets, a different perspective and clinical equipment that facilitates the actual treatment.

In this program, the many aspects of success with the child patient will be discussed, including management tools, equipment, materials, local anesthesia skills, plus the astonishing satisfaction that grows out of the relationship that is developed with the child patient. This course is a "must" for practitioners who see pediatric patients.

BABY STEPS
(Infant and Preschool Dental Care for the General Dentist)
Emphasis is now being placed on establishing a dental home for all children upon eruption of the first tooth or at 12 months of age. It is essential that all dental care providers become skilled at the steps necessary to make these visits successful for both the child and parents. This course discusses developmental ages, appropriate guidelines and clinical tips.

The second day will be an all-day course:

A NEW GPS
Whether you are in your first year out of your training program or just short of retirement, this presentation is for you. Stimulate your thoughts and activate practical, achievable steps to increase your enjoyment of work and assure that your investment of time, money and effort will continue to pay off over a lifetime.

Drawing upon the advice of several dental experts (as well as others from outside of dentistry), the material will help you establish a plan to enhance your professional and personal life. Both realistic and fun, your new GPS will guide you to the place you've always wanted to be.
Conference Sessions generally take place on days at sea (as itinerary allows), giving you plenty of time to enjoy your meals, evenings and ports of call with your companion, family and friends.

Ports of Call
Basseterre, St. Kitts - The island England zealously defended from Brimstone Hill, the "Gibraltar of the West Indies." In Basseterre, a mini-London, there's Piccadilly Circus to shop and a gingerbread version of Big Ben by which to check the hour.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. - Named after a Danish Queen, Charlotte Amalie has one of the most breathtaking deepwater harbors in the world. The key sights of Charlotte Amalie are located within the town centre, making it easy to combine sightseeing with St. Thomas’ fantastic shopping opportunities. Eighteenth century architecture provides the perfect backdrop for walking tours and shopping here in the "Duty Free Capital of the World." For a dose of history, visit Emancipation Park, the American-Caribbean History Museum, or Bluebeard the pirate's castle at Magen’s Bay. If tropical bliss is what you're after, head to any of Charlotte Amalie’s pristine beaches, where the warm water, white sands and palm trees will lull you into deep relaxation!
Oranjestad, Aruba - A Dutch jewel with a tropical touch. In Oranjestad, Aruba's capital, explore the colorful floating market and Nassaustraat, brimming with quaint shops. Head for the beach where water sports abound: snorkeling, rides on glass bottom boats and submarines. Or venture into the countryside to see the haunts of the huge green parakeet, the unique rock gardens of Casi Bari, the curious divi divi tree, forever bending in the tradewind breezes
San Juan, Puerto Rico - In days of yore, the waters near Puerto Rico teemed with pirate ships commanded by the likes of Sir Francis Drake. Aye, they are long gone, but in their wake they have left an island of national treasures: La Casa Blanca, built in 1501 for the island's first governor, Ponce de Leon; the cobblestone streets of Old San Juan; the tropical rain forests of El Yunque. Port tips from our blog
Willemstad, Curacao - An isle of Dutch treats: gabled storybook houses, duty-free Delftware, the famous Curacao orange flavored liqueur

TravelSafe.comPlease visit TravelSafe.com for travel insurance information.

Cruise Line cancellation policies are strictly enforced. For that reason, we urge all of our travelers to carefully consider whether travel insurance is a good value for them.

Certainly, if you have reason to think that "something might come up" that might force you to cancel, travel insurance is worth the cost of the premium. Examples we've seen in the past include ill or frail family members and changes in employment causing relocation.

If travel insurance is the right choice for you, we recommend TravelSafe. To visit their site and explore your options click here or on the link above. The cruise lines also offer travel insurance and we'd be happy to help you go that route if you'd prefer.
