Dr Piziak is a Professor of Medicine at Texas A&M University and Director of the Diabetes Section and the Endocrinology fellowship at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas. She is the Emeritus Director of Endocrinology at Scott & White. She obtained her PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Massachusetts and her MD at the University of Kentucky.

Her internal Medicine residency training was at Akron Medical Center and her fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and has published over 100 articles in peer reviewed Journals.

Katherine Sherif, MD is Professor and Vice Chair, Department of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University. She is also Director of Jefferson Women's Primary Care.

Dr. Sherif's clinical interests include polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and hormone therapy. She founded the first center for PCOS in 2000. She published a textbook on women's health, and more recently, a handbook on hormone therapy in 2013. She co-authored the most recent American Heart Association Guidelines on the Prevention & Treatment of Cardiovascular Disease in Women.

Dr. Sherif's interests include the role of omega-3 fatty acids in health and disease, congenital adrenal hyperplasia and the role of sex hormones in non-reproductive systems. She is currently conducting a study on menopause.
