Content Set I: Education Basics for Teaching Patients, Families/Caregivers, and Staff
Content Set II: Connecting Research to Practice
Content Set III: Skills for Team Based Healthcare Delivery
Within each set, we will work to cover specific issues of interest to you, and will do individual and team activities to apply new knowledge.
Women's health care has advanced dramatically in the last several decades. Understanding current evidence regarding contraception, hormone therapy, HPV disease, bleeding disorders, including amenorrhea and abnormal uterine bleeding will allow practitioners to manage their patients more appropriately.
In addition, several of these lectures, including early pregnancy, contraception, and others, will encourage teamwork with other members of the healthcare team, including ultrasonographers, nurses, medical assistants, and others. Finally, an update on CPT and ICD coding will help practitioners maximize their appropriate reimbursement.
