Dr. Julia Jenkins is an accomplished family physician and medical educator who currently serves as the Associate Program Director for the USF-MPM Family Medicine Residency Program in Clearwater, Florida. Alongside her leadership in residency training, she holds academic appointments as an Associate Professor at both the USF-Morsani College of Medicine and the FSU College of Medicine, Sarasota Campus. A dedicated advocate for medical education and clinical excellence, she also chairs the Continuing Professional Development Committee for the Florida Academy of Family Physicians.
After earning her medical degree from the University of South Florida, Dr. Jenkins completed her residency at Bayfront Medical Center and a Faculty Development Fellowship at the University of North Carolina. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and holds a diplomate from the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine (DipABLM). Recognized with the Degree of Fellow from the American Academy of Family Physicians, her clinical interests span lifestyle and obesity medicine, lipidology, cardiovascular disease, advocacy, and ophthalmology. Dr. Jenkins routinely lectures at regional and national forums and is widely recognized for delivering engaging, practice-changing presentations that empower clinicians to improve patient outcomes.

Both Dr. Fayssoux and Dr. Jenkins presented their topics in an easy to understand and very engaging way. Normally I tend to space out during lectures, but both speakers kept my attention the whole time! I was pleasantly surprised!
