Professor Ariel Weissman graduated from the Hadassah–Hebrew University Medical School in Jerusalem in 1988. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Kaplan Medical Center, Rehovot, in 1994, and subsequently served for two years as a senior physician in the IVF Unit. Prof. Weissman then undertook a two-year clinical and research fellowship under Professor Bob Casper at the Division of Reproductive Sciences, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Toronto, Canada. Upon returning to Israel in 1998, he joined the IVF Unit in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wolfson Medical Center, affiliated with Tel Aviv University’s Faculty of Medicine, where he now holds the position of Full Professor. Since 2000, Prof. Weissman has co-authored the renowned Textbook of Assisted Reproductive Techniques: Laboratory and Clinical Perspectives. Now in its sixth edition, the textbook is regarded as one of the leading authoritative works in the field of ART.
